How much does mediation cost?

Brighter future mediation is proud be one of the most affordable services in the UK as we’re committed to making mediation accessible. Unlike most services, we do not charge extra for signing of court forms. The only cost is time with the Mediator.

We are fully online and available for appointments across the UK at a time that’s convenient for you.

Before making a court application for certain types of family law orders, you are legally required to attend a Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM) to see if mediation could be a better option.  See below for more details.

Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

Eligible parties receive £500 towards mediation sessions

We are registered with the government’s (MOJ) Mediation Voucher Scheme that gives eligible parties £500 towards mediation sessions. The voucher is not means tested, and is available for all cases involving child arrangements. Find out more here.

The family mediation  voucher scheme is designed to support parents/grandparents in resolving family law disputes involving children outside of court, reducing backlogs and encouraging mediation as an effective means of dispute resolution.
