Your first meeting: the MIAM
A Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM) is the legally required first step before most family court applications. It is one to one, up to 60 minutes, online, and you leave knowing your options.

This is for you if you want to understand your options before committing to anything, or a solicitor or the court has told you to attend a Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM). A legal requirement before most family court applications.

This is for you if you are eligible for the government voucher and/or if you’d like to reach agreement in fewer sessions.
If you qualify for the voucher, £250 is credited to both clients’ accounts and you can access this extended session free (in standard hours).
Your MIAM comes first, so book that and we will confirm your voucher eligibility.

Putting your agreement in writing
When you reach agreement in mediation we write it up properly. These documents can form the basis of a consent order, which makes your agreement legally binding without a court battle.

This is for you if you have agreed arrangements for the children and want them written up clearly. This is the document many people call a parenting plan.

The Ministry of Justice Family Mediation Voucher Scheme gives eligible parties £500 towards mediation in cases involving child arrangements. It is not means tested and we claim it for you.

Out of hours
Any appointment starting before 09:00, finishing after 17:00, or at a weekend. We do not book on UK bank holidays.
Urgent services
Delivered within 24 hours of confirmed booking and payment, seven days a week, excluding UK bank holidays. Non-refundable once your slot is confirmed.
Moving or cancelling
Give at least 72 hours notice to move or cancel free of charge. Inside 72 hours, or a no show, is non-refundable. Approved refunds within 10 working days.
Paying
Payment is due at least 72 hours before your appointment. If timing is difficult, tell us and we will find a date that works.
Court fees and legal advice
Our packages do not include HMCTS court fees or legal advice. We work with legal support professionals and solicitors for legal support if you need it.

A MIAM costs £125 per person, or £159 out of hours. It lasts up to 60 minutes and is held online with a FMC registered mediator.
Yes. Our urgent MIAM package is £199 per person and delivers your MIAM and a mediator signed C100 or Form A certificate within 24 hours of confirmed booking.
The urgent MIAM package (£199) gives you; a MIAM within 24 hours plus your mediator signed form, and you complete the full court form yourself.
Direct to court express (£499) is everything done for you: the MIAM, the signed certificate, and your C100 or Form A completed by us to court standard, all within 24 hours.
If you have already had your MIAM with us, the mediator signed court form (C100 or Form A) is £30.
It is included in the urgent and court packages.
The Family Mediation Voucher Scheme gives eligible parties £500 towards mediation in cases involving child arrangements. It is not means tested. We are a registered provider and claim it for you. One voucher per family- applied as £250 credit per person towards first extended mediation session.
Child inclusive mediation is £295 per parent or carer (£369 out of hours) and includes; a 60 minute CIM preparation session for parents and a separate 60 minute confidential CIM session between the mediator and your child/ren. Additional child/ren sessions are £150 per parent.
Yes, we regularly facilitate evening and weekend sessions.
Any appointment starting before 09:00, finishing after 17:00, or at a weekend is charged at our out of hours rate, shown on each service above. We do not book on UK bank holidays.
Give at least 72 hours notice to move or cancel free of charge. Inside 72 hours, or if you do not attend, the fee is not refunded. Urgent services are non-refundable once the slot is confirmed. Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days.
