Brighter future mediation is proud be one of the most cost-effective services in the UK as we’re committed to making mediation accessible. Unlike most services, we do not charge extra for signing of court forms. The only cost is time with the Mediator.

Divorce, separation, child contact and family mediation

Before making a court application for certain types of family law orders, you will be required to attend a Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM). Learn more about MIAMs

Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

Eligible parties receive £500 towards mediation sessions

We are registered with the government’s (MOJ) Mediation Voucher Scheme that gives eligible parties £500 towards mediation sessions. The voucher is not means teasted, and is available for all cases involving child arrangements. Family Mediation Voucher Scheme – GOV.UK.

Your mediator will discuss this with you in your MIAM.

The family mediation voucher scheme is designed to support parents in resolving family law disputes outside of court, reducing backlogs and encouraging mediation as an effective means of dispute resolution.

MIAM

£99 (per person)

1 x 60-minute Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM)
You will have the opportunity to share more about your situation and the mediator will give you information on the various options available to you so you can make an infomed decision on your next steps.
Includes free signed C100 / Form A Court form if required

Mediation session

£150 (per person)

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Open Financial Statement (OFS)

£140 (per document, per person)

Clear and concise summary of your financial situation (required if you do decide on court in the future)
Can be shown to the court (on an 'open' basis)
Summarises arrangements agreed and the reasons
Enables quick and easy Consent Order preparation - speeding up divorce/separation

Statement of child arrangements

£85 (per person)

Comprehensive document summarising arrangements for your children agreed in mediation
Included amendments based on your feedback
Covers aspects of child contact and arrangements now and in the future
Legally privileged but can be made into a Consent Order with permission of both parties

Draft application of C100 and/or draft consent order
