Our Services

Separation and divorce

It’s natural for there to be conflict when a romantic relationship ends, whether that’s marriage, civil partnership or co-habiting couples. We are experts in helping you make decisions and reach agreement on issues such as finances, child contact and the future.

Child contact and arrangements

Focusing on the needs of the child/children is in everyone’s interest and we support people to make decisions around living arrangements, child contact and the practicalities of raising healthy, happy children. We can also support you to reach agreement as things change over time.

Family disputes

This can include reaching agreement on issues such as contact with grandchildren, care of relatives, repayment of loans and other areas of disagreement among family members.

Honestly, mediation was the last thing on my mind when going through a breakup and felt like I was on an emotionless conveyor belt, getting taken on for a ride with all the expensive court processes, legal babble and gut retching reliving of the breakdown of of your relationship. I was recommended too attended a MIAM with Brighter Future by a colleague who had gone through something similar and was the first time I could actually see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Then after 2 sessions with a fantastic mediator, we reached a settlement and made it official without solicitors! Was really quicker, simpler and can put more of my time and energy into being a great father for my kids.

Initially I was skeptical about using a mediation service and involving even more people into an already difficult situation. But now I'm so glad I did. The whole process can be stressful but the service and professionalism I received from Rebecca was first class and I can only say good things about her. I felt really listened to and she was clear, concise and considerate in our sessions. I'd recommend Bright Future to anyone considering meditation, it's way more cost effective than dealing with lawyers!

Commercial / Civil mediation

Our mediators are experienced in resolving commercial and civil disputes such as: wills and probate, Inheritance Act claims, commercial contracts, professional negligence claims, landlord and tenant disputes as well as copyright and IP disputes.
